Ustaad Bhagat Singh, starring Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, is nearing the end of its theatrical run. The Telugu mass action movie, directed by Harish Shankar, could only add Rs. 3 crore to its total in its second weekend, a significant drop from its opening weekend.
Ustaad Bhagat Singh’s 11-day total box office collection in India currently stands at Rs. 73 crore gross, adding to its Rs. 70 crore cume from the first week. The film is expected to gain one crore or more to its tally from here on out, with a domestic theatrical run of only Rs 75 crore. However, Ustaad Bhagat Singh proved to be a major letdown at the box office. The audience flatly rejected it because it failed to wow with its quality of material.
The unfortunate aspect for the Pawan Kalyan starrer is that it couldn’t even compete with its rival release, Dhurandhar: The Revenge, in its home region. Interestingly, despite being released on a restricted number of screens, the Ranveer Singh-starring film ruled the Telugu box office from the first Monday. Ustaad Bhagat Singh stars Pawan Kalyan in the lead role, with Sreeleela and Raashii Khanna serving as co-leads. In addition, R. Parthiban, Rao Ramesh, KS Ravikumar, Gautami, Ramki, LB Sriram, and Satyam Rajesh play important roles in the film.
