Jamie Linden, the director of the 10 Years film, will serve as the showrunner of the upcoming crime drama 12 scars. The new criminal thriller series is being produced by Aggregate Films, 6th, Idaho, and Legendary Television in collaboration with Netflix. Eight episodes have been commissioned by Netflix, and based on the premise they have supplied, the series will combine two crime dramas: Paper Moon from 1973 and the well-known Netflix thriller Ozark.
Netflix has not revealed any more information on the casting of the series, the location of filming, or the start date of any future production since the series’ announcement. This raises the issue of whether the series will ever be adopted.
12 Scars Season 1 Plot
Due to the similarities in their stories, the series has been likened to Ozark. Similar to the 12 Scars series, the family in Ozark engages in money laundering. Samuel Hayley, a single father immersed in the criminal underworld, is followed in his life by 12 scars.
He must relocate nevertheless since he is determined to turn the page and make a fresh start. It’s long overdue because Louise, his daughter, also wants a father she can rely on and who won’t get arrested. They choose to relocate to Massachusetts but quickly come to the realization that their past is following them and that they must remain hidden for the foreseeable future—possibly their entire lives.
12 Scars Season 1 Cast
No casting announcements have been made as of October, and we have no idea when they will be. Also unattached to the prospective project are any directors. As a result, the development of the series is also in doubt. But we do know that the executive producer, writer, and showrunner will be Jamie Linden. His most well-known work is the film 10 Years, which he wrote and directed. Additionally, he contributed to the Dear John and We Are Marshall programs. The announcement of the casting may occur before or just after next year.
12 Scars Season 1 Trailer
There hasn’t been a teaser or trailer released for the Netflix series 12 Scars, and we have no idea when one will. Filming was supposed to be finished in October, but since there have been no updates, it won’t be shocking if it doesn’t.
Depending on the series creators, the earliest you may anticipate the trailer to be aired is in 2023 or 2024. While waiting, you might want to check out some of the programs on Netflix. Ozark is one such program with a plot similar to that of The 12 Scars. A married couple relocates as part of their family’s money laundering scheme.
12 Scars Season 1 Release Date
Unfortunately, Netflix has not yet announced a release date for the 12 Scars series. The original idea for the series was to begin filming in June and continue through October, but it appears that things have altered. We don’t know when the eight-episode series will begin production, but 2023 seems like the best time to accomplish it. Further, the earliest you can anticipate the 12 scars series, assuming it continues to air, is 2024.
