1899 is an upcoming German epic period mystery-horror streaming television series. It was created by Jantje Friese and Baran bo Odar. The series is all set to premiere on Netflix in late 2022. Apparently, the series focuses on A group of European migrants leave London on a steamship to start new lives in New York City. But when they encounter another migrant ship adrift on the open sea, their journey begins to turn into a nightmare.

1899: Expected Plot
As per the reports, 1899 will follow the journey of a migrant steamship that is filled with people from various backgrounds, colors, and races, all united by the idea of making a new life, Heading west to New York from their old continent London. Furthermore, On the surface level, the new series would seem like a simple tale of the journey, but 1899 is much more twisted. Moreover, The passengers discover another immigrant ship on their journey, and what they find aboard changes their destiny in the most abrupt manner.
1899: Release Date
Reportedly, 1899 will have a two-episode premiere on 47th Toronto International Film Festival on September 14, 2022. However, The series is expected to launch at the streaming platform later this year.
Moreover, according to few sources the series is all set to hit the screens in November this year. However, none of it was confirmed by the network.
