On Friday, May 7, team India skipper Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka Sharma announced a campaign to raise funds for COVID-19 relief work in India. Both Virat and Anushka themselves donated Rs 2 crore to the campaign and urged others to “come together and help our India” and donate through the Ketto portal.
On Saturday, Virat Kohli took Twitter to show his joy and revealed that the campaign had received Rs 3.6 crore in donations in just 24 hours.
“3.6 crores in less than 24 hours! Overwhelmed with the response. Let’s keep fighting to meet our target and help the country. Thank you.” Kohli Tweeted.

Bollywood actress and Virat’s wife Anushka Sharma tweeted saying she is grateful to everyone who had donated so far and also said that their campaign has crossed the halfway mark. And requested everyone to keep supporting.
