600,000 UK citizens get vaccinated, Canada receives first doses of the Moderna vaccine

Over 600,000 citizens of the United Kingdom have gotten vaccinated by the Pfizer and BioNTech developed and produced vaccine as reported by the Department of Health. As many as 521,000 people from England, 56,000 from Scotland, 22,000 from Wales and slightly over 16,000 from Northern Ireland have been vaccinated. The vaccination numbers are expected to rise in the coming months since more vaccines will be produced and delivered. On the other hand, Canada has received their first doses of the Moderna vaccine earlier this week.
