9 and 11 classes exams cancelled in Delhi, announces Manish Sisodia

The Delhi government on Thursday announced for the cancellation of class 9 and 11 exams keeping in view, the safety of children. However, the official notice is expected to release soon.

The Delhi Education Minister, Manish Sisodia says, “We reviewed about examination and admission process and took some important decisions. Class 9 and 11 examinations which were postponed earlier have now been cancelled.”

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) led Delhi Government earlier had announced of postponing the 9 and 11 examinations, on April 12 this year. The Delhi government, however keeping in view the safety of the children have taken this decision amid COVID-19.

“The results for 9 and 11 will be based on their previous performance, assignments and marks obtained in the mid-term exams,” says Manish Sisodia.


The results of class 9 and 11 are scheduled to be declared on June 22, 2021. Student can get access to their result through online mode that is Education Department’s website. However the students can also get their results through WhatsApp.

Meanwhile, Delhi has recorded 305 fresh COVID-19 cases and 44 deaths in last 24 hours on Thursday that is 10th June. Positivity rates seems to be declining with each passing day, now standing at 0.41 per cent, according to health reports released on Thursday.
