Global market capitalisation crosses $100 trillion

Global market capitalization has crossed $100 trillion mark for the first time ever. Global market capital includes all the listed stock around the world. It was at $100.5 trillion or about Rs 7,400 lakh crore. The large part of stocks were led by tech companies “FAANGM” (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google and Microsoft). The top countries are US, China and Japan. India has share of 2.4% which is marginally down from 2.5% last year.
