MTAR Technologies to enter Dalal street, likely to raise Rs 650 crore via IPO

MTAR Technologies is planning to file papers for initial public offering very soon. MTAR is a company which develops and manufactures components and equipment for the defense, aerospace and nuclear energy sectors. It was formed in 1970 and is backed by Mathew Cyriac, the former equity co-head of Blackstone. Through IPO MTAR plans to raise Rs. 650 crore in equity shares. It’s clientele includes Indian Space Research Organization, Defense Research and Development Organization, Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd and US-based Bloom Energy Corp., Bharat Dynamics, Hindustan Aeronautics & more.
