Everything You Need To Know About Dolly Parton And Garth Brooks’ Relationship!

With their memorable songs and adored personas, Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton have established themselves as giants in the country music industry. The singer of “Friends in Low Places” has snatched the most Entertainer of the Year CMA Awards, taking home the title seven times. In 2020, he was again honoured at the Kennedy Center Honors. The vocalist of “Jolene” also received an Entertainer of the Year award in 1978, and she was recognised at the Kennedy Center in 2006.

The fact that the two country music icons haven’t collaborated on anything is almost criminal. The ACM Awards will be co-hosted by Brooks and Parton in May, so it’s better to be late than never. ACM Awards executive producer Damon Whiteside stated in a statement, “We couldn’t be more excited to bring this legendary pair together for the first time ever as Country Music’s Party of the Year heads to the Dallas Cowboys World Headquarters.”

From exclusive superstar performances to unexpected collaborations to the industry’s most exciting emerging talent, fans are in for an unforgettable night that can only be seen on the ACM Awards stage!

Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks have never collaborated before.

Garth Brooks and Dolly Parton were announced as the hosts of the 58th ACM Awards on May 11 on March 29. Despite being regarded as country music icons, the two singers have never worked together on a single or another music-related endeavor, which makes them both the more delighted to host the awards presentation.

“I am thrilled to return to host the ACM Awards, this time with my friend Garth. While I’ve had the pleasure of spending time with him throughout the years, I can’t believe we’ve never had the chance to work together,” Parton told Deadline about hosting alongside the “The Thunder Rolls” singer. Brooks returned the love and added, “Anyone with Dolly Parton makes a fantastic couple.”

Garth Brooks is a huge Dolly Parton fan

The 57th ACM Awards were previously hosted by Dolly Parton, Jimmie Allen, and Gabby Barrett in 2022. However, Garth Brooks is hosting an awards presentation for the very first time. However, it seems like he is relieved that he would be working with the “9 to 5” singer, who has relevant expertise.

The “More Than A Memory” singer, who has previously declined to choose his favourite Parton song, appears to be in utter awe of her as well. He stated to Vulture in 2019 that “If it’s a Dolly song, you do it, you crank it up because her voice holds up when you crank it up.” Trisha Yearwood, Brooks’ wife, said that Parton’s songs are “timeless” and that the tireless nature of the country icon inspires her. Brooks chimed in, “Yeah, amen. She is a much stronger lady than I am. She’s brave, man. I cherish her.
