4.5 crore people might be forced to migrate from homes due to natural disasters

The ActionAid International and Climate Action Network South Asia have conducted a study in which they have found out that the climate disasters like floods, droughts and cyclones are appearing to be three times more by 2050. They have concluded that approximately, 4.5 crore Indians might have to migrate from their homes. The same study was also conducted for Bangladesh, India, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka, according to the reports more than 6 crore people are likely to go homeless in Southern Asia alone.
