“I’m going to make Christine’s life a living hell. This is not about the house; it’s about going through with the divorce,” a close friend of Kevin’s ex Santa Barbara has claimed to the Daily Mail.
A friend of Costner’s ex alleged that the 68-year-old Oscar winner intended to avenge his ex-wife and ‘humiliate’ her for going through with the divorce.
According to a 2004 agreement, the ex-couple was ordered by the judge to leave their Santa Barbara, California, Mansion by the end of the month.
This just goes to prove that the actor is out for vengeance on his estranged wife for the divorce being slammed onto him by Christine Baumgartner.
The Oscar-winning actor and former handbag designer has three children: boys Cayden and Hayes and daughter Grace. Before his marriage, Kevin had relationships with supermodels Bridget Rooney and Elle MacPherson, as well as a brief relationship with political activist Birgit Cunningham. Prior to marrying Christine, he was married to Cindy Silva.
Christine also came out to say, “She wouldn’t be surprised if her husband would have her escorted off the property by the cops”. Christine wanted to make the entire facade as peaceful as possible for the benefit of their children.
The former couple signed a prenuptial agreement in 2004, which stated that in the case of a divorce, Christine would leave the estate within 30 days. Kevin had promised to pay his wife $30,000 per month in rent for a new home, plus an additional $10,000 for moving expenses, but she complained that it wasn’t enough.
Christine was ordered by a judge to leave the estate by the end of the month.
The couple has asked for joint custody of their children and has had disagreements about child support as well. According to the court hearing, Kevin will pay $129,755 per month in child support, but healthcare expenses are to be split up even between the former couple.
