The cast of the film stepped out of the movie’s UK premiere in London in support of the Screen Actors Guild-American Federation of Radio and Television Artists (SAG-AFTRA), which officially started a strike against studios and streaming services on July 14. The Oppenheimer premiere was moved up one hour so that the cast could walk the red carpet prior to the announcement.
The historical drama helmed by Christopher Nolan explores the life of American theoretical physicist J. Robert Oppenheimer. Alongside Emily Blunt, Florence Pugh, Robert Downey Jr. and Cillian Murphy, the cast also features Matt Damon Jr.
