Taylor Swift makes history, becomes first woman with four albums in Billboard’s Top 10 at once

Taylor Swift has been on the rise recently, breaking record after record. Since the start of her Eras tour, the singer has been breezing through one record after another. Swift’s Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) came out and received praise. It has now helped her in breaking yet another musical record.

Taylor Swift has made history by being the first living artist in over 6 decades to have at least 4 albums in the top 10 on Billboard’s 200 list at the same time. Along with her most recent album, Speak Now (Taylor’s Version), Midnights, Lover and Folklore all made the chart, with her most recent release taking up the coveted No. 1 position.

Taylor finds herself in excellent company. According to Billboard, the only other living artist who achieved this accomplishment was Herb Alpert in 1966 with his albums Going Places, Whipped Cream & Other Delights, South of the Border and The Lonely Bull.

Following his death in 2016, Prince accomplished a similar milestone, with five albums reaching the top ten, including The Very Best of Prince, Purple Rain, The Hits/The B-Sides, Ultimate and 1999.

Swift is now on her Eras tour, where she celebrated the release of Speak Now (Taylor’s Version) alongside Taylor Lautner and Joey King in Kansas City. The singer is now on tour in the United States and she will return to Asia in 2024.
