Mary Kom actress Lin Laishram has slammed Bollywood celebrities speaking out in support of the Manipur after video of two women being paraded naked and one of them allegedly gang raped goes viral on the social media. Lin, who is also from the north-eastern state, took to her Instagram and said that the violence has been going on for more than two months now.
“Where were your Insta stories and tweets when we were shouting and asking for your help??” she wrote in one of Instagram Stories.
In another post, she wrote in a sarcastic tone, “Good morning to all the ‘woke’ people who just woke up from their slumbers.” She added, “FYI.. This has been going on for more than 2 months.”

In another Instagram Story, the actress lashed out at Bollywood paparazzi Viral Bhayani for sharing Urfi Javed’s video, wherein she can be seen holding a placard in her hand, which talks about the Manipur incident. Lin wrote, “Is this the only post idea you found to get more attention?… You have no f**king clue what’s going on in Manipur.”
