Ethan Slater’s ex wife Lilly Jay finally speaks on Ariana Grande’s relationship

Lilly Jay, the former spouse of Ethan Slater, has been mum about the actor’s alleged new romance with Ariana Grande, his ‘Wicked’ co-star.

Lilly said in a brief statement to a website devoted to entertainment that her family is “collateral damage” in this frenzied romance. “The story actually is about Arianna. Not a girl’s girl, she”. Lily told Page Six, “My family is just collateral damage. The story is her and Dalton”.

The portal reported that many individuals claimed Lilly had been contacting several news organisations to “get this story out.” Jay told the Daily Mail that she is putting her attention into “rebuilding a life” for her son, whom she has with Ethan. “This is my only focus.”

In August 2022, Ethan and Lilly had a boy. Interesting news reports claim that Lilly spent a lot of time with Ariana after visiting her husband on the London set of the song video. The singer even got to meet the couple’s 11-month-old kid while expressing her own eagerness to create a family and desire to become a mother.

According to a TMZ source, Ethan divorced Lilly in New York and completed the necessary paperwork. He didn’t give a cause for his separation.

In the meantime, Twitter users have gone all out to criticise Grande for dating a married co-star and Ethan for leaving his family. Many people shared images of Ariana “liking” Ethan’s Instagram postings, one of which was a love letter to Lilly, on Twitter during the cheating scandal. The message was made on the occasion of their fourth wedding anniversary. The other had a picture of their young boy and was a Mother’s Day message.

The announcement of this new relationship comes just a few weeks after reports that Grande, 30, had split up with her spouse after one year of marriage. Since meeting on the set of “Wicked,” Grande and Slater have been dating for a number of months.
