Lee Byung Hun, who starred in Squid Game 2, is expecting his second child with Boys Over Flowers actress Lee Min Jung. On August 4, it was reported that the couple were expecting their second baby after 8 years since their first child and their agency confirmed the news on the same day.
Lee Min Jung’s agency MSteam Entertainment confirmed the news by saying, “It is true Lee Min Jung is pregnant with her second child. As this was both Lee Byung Hun and Lee Min Jung’s decision, the two are very happy about it.”
After 8 years of marriage, the All About Romance actress will have her second child with the Iris actor. Since their wedding in 2013, the two celebrities have received a lot of love from fans and have been dubbed the “lovebird couple” for the last ten years. The Who Are You? actress gave birth to her first child in 2015 and she is expecting her second in 2023.
Lee Byung Hun is a veteran actor who is famous in South Korea as well as around the world for his role as Eugene Choi in the K-drama Mr. Sunshine, in which he co-starred with Kim Tae Ri and Yoo Yeon Seok. He also starred in the first season of the Netflix hit K-drama Squid Game, which was released in 2020 and attracted the world by storm and he is expected to appear again in season 2 of the drama.
