‘Saw X’ shares glimpse of the fate of Jigsaw’s new victim; See pic

Saw X, the tenth Saw film, will be released in a couple of weeks, nearly two decades after Jigsaw Killer John Kramer sent his first victims on a  bloody, sadistic thrill ride that made you want to puke with both excitement and revulsion. Finding even more imaginative ways to make you go “Oh, God, no” is a tricky task and this time, Saw X director and franchise veteran Kevin Greutert reveals in the new issue of Empire that they’ve looked back to the future. Tobin Bell’s Kramer has been absent from the franchise for quite some time, however, for Saw X, the original Jigsaw, with his innovative approach to life coaching, returns in an enormous way.

A new picture shared by Empire Magazine shows Paulette Hernandez screaming, soaked in blood and with ropes around her neck, hinting at the fate of Jigsaw’s victims in the forthcoming film. In an accompanying interview, filmmaker Greutert explains, “This one has pulled back to a somewhat more realistic level.”

Saw X Plot

The film is set between the events of Saw and Saw II and it follows Karmer as he travels to Mexico in search of a miracle cure for his cancer. Greutert is thrilled to take the franchise back to its grounded roots and character-driven story: “The more that the audience can get the sense that a smart engineer – which he is – could figure out what to do with these parts and make it work, the better.”
