Millie Bobby Brown reveals she’d like to work in a care home because she loves ‘the history of older people’

Millie Bobby Brown recently arrived at the Global Radio Studios in London, England, glowing in red.

Photographers captured the Stranger Things star entering the studio. She wore an oversized leather jacket, which she then took off before appearing on Lorraine, revealing a plunging red bodysuit. Millie donned dark sunglasses and had her dark hair pulled back in a sleek bun as she entered the building.

Millie’s appearance on television comes just days after the actress claimed she could see herself taking an entirely different career path.

On Monday’s Women’s Hour on Radio 4, the 19-year-old made a fascinating revelation about her career path. She revealed this surprising career choice while reflecting on her late grandmother, whose life and experiences inspired her new book, Nineteen Steps.

After explaining how her grandmother’s wartime stories influenced the basis of her novel, she stated, “A huge passion of mine, if I had not taken the route I have taken, would have been to work in a care home.”

“I love the history of older people and the stories they do tell, even if they are completely made up, which sometimes they are!” the actress added. “But I hope after reading [Nineteen Steps] you go and talk to your grandparents or you your parents and learn about your family history.”

The actress went on to say that she wants to one day volunteer at a care home, citing the importance of being  “able to sit there and talk to someone and just being present with someone and hearing them.”
