Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs accused of sexually assaulting and drugging woman in 1991

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is facing several legal challenges. Following the settlement of a lawsuit with his ex-partner Cassie (Casandra Ventura), new allegations have come to light accusing Diddy of drugging and sexually abusing a lady in 1991 and allegedly recording the incident. According to reports, the case was filed in Manhattan Supreme Court on Thursday. A woman identified as Joi Dickerson-Neal filed the charges.

On November 24, Diddy was faced with new allegations that had a striking resemblance to the serious charges leveled by his long-term ex-partner, R&B singer Cassie. According to the lawsuit, Combs reportedly sexually assaulted Joi Dickerson-Neal, a former Syracuse University student, during a dinner date at Wells Restaurant in Harlem.

A representative for Diddy’s team immediately refuted these allegations, calling them a ‘money grab.’

The legal action includes not just charges of sexual assault, but also claims that the artist was drugged, which left her in a state where she ‘couldn’t stand or walk independently’.  As per the lawsuit, he drove the alleged victim to a recording studio, where she was unable to exit and then brought her to his, where he sexually assaulted her. According to the complaint, Combs secretly recorded the assault and the victim’s friend claimed to have seen the recording days after the incident.

The woman went on to say that when she asked her friend how many people had seen the video, her friend told ‘everyone’.

The lawyer of Dickerson-Neal in a complaint stated, “The sexual assault, and public exposure of it, caused her to suffer overwhelming feelings of humiliation, embarrassment, violation, and constant apprehension about who all viewed it,”

The filing further reads “Still today, Ms. Dickerson continues to work on her emotional health, economic recovery and finishing her college degree. Seeking accountability from Combs under the law is one more step in that journey”.
