“After installing the latest WhatsApp beta for iOS 23.24.10.72 update, which is available on the TestFlight app, we discovered that WhatsApp is rolling out the same feature to some beta testers who use the iOS app,” WABetaInfo reported.
The screenshot shared by WABetaInfo shows that iOS users can also share stickers as the sticker button is available within the chat bar.
This is a significant step toward making features consistent across platforms, which will improve the overall experience for channel owners who use both Android and iOS.
It’s worth mentioning that the latest version of the app now supports sending animated stickers, which adds a dynamic element to channel engagement. Also, this feature is available to users who download the most recent version of WhatsApp from the App Store.
“Bringing the ability to share stickers into channels brings a helpful advantage. Stickers are visually appealing and can convey emotions, expressions, or messages in a more playful and creative way compared to simple text updates,” WABetaInfo said.
According to the report, when channel owners share stickers that align with the content or theme of their channel, it adds a personalized and entertaining element to their updates.
