PM Modi will lay the foundation stone of AIIMS in Raikot, Gujarat on Dec 31, 2020 through video conferencing. The project cover area of 201 acres near Khandheri village on the outskirts of Rajkot city and the cost of the project is estimated at Rs. 1195 crore. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani, Deputy Chief Minister Nitin Patel are expected to be in attendance.
The construction has been assigned to Central PSU HSCC Limited & drawings of 9 buildings have already got the tentative approval.
