Kanye West’s most recent interaction with paparazzi got heated after the rapper snatched a phone from a photographer who asked him about his relationship with Bianca Censori. The day before, it was reported that the Vulture rapper had banned his spouse from using social media, citing concerns for her “protection.” According to sources close to the couple, he is purposefully “isolating” Censori from reality by banning her from interacting with other people, as reported by the Daily Mail.
The rapper’s response to a photographer who questioned if West was “controlling” Censori was unexpected and quick: he snatched the phone from her hand until it went blank. The incident occurred on Monday when the rapper was on his way to Charlie Wilson’s Walk of Fame ceremony on Hollywood Boulevard, captured in a video obtained by TMZ.
“People want to know if Bianca has her free will, some people are saying you’re controlling her…”, the photographer asks before asking Kanye West to return her phone.
Before she was able to finish her statement, the rapper lost his cool. Though the screen had gone blank, he was seen saying a few things to her. “Don’t come at me with that dumbass s–t, I’m a person. Are you crazy?” He added, “I’m a legend, I’m here to support Charlie Wilson and you come ask me some dumbass s–t about my wife. That’s my wife.”
But the conversation did not end there. The reporter was still being berated and questioned if she had “free will” and whether she “works for the devil.” The rapper replied, “You asked me if my wife had free will. Was that a dumbass, disrespectful question to ask a grown-ass superhero?” Before returning her phone, he repeatedly asked “Answer the question, I’m supposed to answer your questions, answer my questions.”
