Sandeep Reddy Vanga, renowned for films like Arjun Reddy and Kabir Singh, enjoyed success with his most recent release, Animal, which stars Ranbir Kapoor.
The filmmaker is reportedly in talks with Salman Khan for his next dark action crime movie, according to Filmfare. Sandeep is now working on various projects alongside Allu Arjun and Prabhas. He has also expressed his desire to collaborate with A-list actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Chiranjeevi.
But as of now, there has been no announcement on his project starring Salman.
Animal, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been in the news ever since its release for several reasons. Despite the movie’s success at the box office, many have said that it glorifies toxic masculinity and misogyny.
Animal, which was released on December 1, revolves around a man and his toxic relationship with his dad. The movie portrays Vijay (Ranbir) as an anti-hero who will do whatever it takes to defend his father, including killing 200 people with a machine gun.
Meantime, Salman Khan will be collaborating with Karan Johar on a big-budget action movie helmed by Vishnuvardhan. According to reports, the film is based on a true story and Salman will portray a paramilitary officer. However, there is no official confirmation of this as of now.
