Argentina legalizes abortion rights

Alberto Fernández -Argentina’s president has promised to sign the bill (legalize abortion) in to the law after a landmark vote in a conservative region with the margin of 38-29 and one abstention making it legal for women to end there pregnancies for any reason up to 14 weeks & after that there will be exceptions allowed for rape & for the health of the mother.

Previously Uruguay, Cuba and Guyana were the only other Latin American countries that allowed abortion on request whereas Argentina had partial abortion rights.
