After delivering his most awaited album Vultures Volume 1, Kanye West is currently enjoying success. But not everything in his world has been sunshine and butterflies. In a new interaction with TMZ, the rapper said that he almost declared bankruptcy following his cancellation due to his antisemitic remarks. The Heartless rapper was recently vocal on social media about not being able to find venues for his Vultures Listening Experience show before eventually hosting the listening party in his home city.
Ye even had the chance to flash his no-budget Yeezy Super Bowl commercial this Sunday to spread the word about his clothing line. In his interviews with the media outlets, the rapper not only talked about the success of his new album, but he also remained unapologetic about his previous rants.
“I was two months from going bankrupt, and I put everything I had into it”, West said about his new album Vultures. Taking the cancellations in stride, he boldly admitted to reclaiming the number-one spot.
He added by praising his own “various skill sets of music and clothing and fanbase” which helped him to get over the negative outcome of his remarks. As TMZ asked him another question regarding his antisemitic remarks, the rapper responded in classic Kanye West style, expressing no regret for anything. He said, “They go the right to their opinion – I got the right to my opinion.”
