The Grammy-winning singer Usher surprised fans on February 11 when news broke that he got married to Jennifer Goicoechea, his longtime girlfriend, in Las Vegas.
According to their marriage certificate, the couple exchanged vows in an outdoor wedding chapel in Las Vegas, with Usher’s mother serving as their witness. Pictures from the occasion show Usher sporting a gold band on his left ring finger, while Goicoechea looked stunning in an all-white jacket with an off-the-shoulder jacket and wide-leg pants.
The marriage ceremony was a private affair, with only 30 guests present at the Terrace Gazebo. Even with the intimate setting, the occasion was unquestionably packed with love as the couple began this new chapter in their life together.
Their marriage is a big milestone in their relationship, which first came public in June 2019 when they were seen together at a birthday celebration. Since then, the relationship has only grown. Usher and Goicoechea welcomed their first child together, a daughter named Sovereign Bo, in 2020, and their son, Sire Castrello, in 2021. Usher has two sons from a previous marriage.
Usher has been hitched twice previously, but this is Jennifer Goicoechea’s first marriage. His first marriage, which lasted from 2007 to 2009, was to stylist Tameka Foster. Then, in 2015, he got married to Grace Harry, who worked in entertainment. They broke up in 2018.
