Prince Harry willing to return to royal duties if asked amid King Charles’ cancer diagnosis: report

Prince Harry, who, like his wife Meghan Markle, stepped back from important royal duties in 2020, has reportedly shown an interest in helping King Charles. A source who recently talked with PageSix revealed important details concerning the ‘change of heart.’ This comes after the 39-year-old went for an interview with Good Morning America and discussed his meeting with King Charles.

Following King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, Harry received a call from him, which led him to travel to the UK. Harry left the US and immediately took a plane to London to be with his unwell dad. Harry said in an interview with Good Morning America that he hoped Charles’s cancer fight would heal their strained relationship. According to a source who spoke with PageSix, Harry does want to return to his royal duties.

According to the source, “Prince Harry would be willing to return to royal duties — if King Charles III asked him to.” From someone who is close to the Royals, “I have a hard time believing if his dad asks for his help that Harry would say no, I think he would try.”

However, the insider also said, “I don’t think it’s something that Harry would ask [to do] on his own.”

According to sources close to the royal circle, Prince Harry is keen to return to his royal duties to support the King while he recovers, since it is thought to be ‘beneficial for the institution.’
