Shashi Tharoor responds to Kangana Ranut’s negative remark on idea of pay for homemakers, says,’It ensures basic income to every women’

Kangana Ranaut recently responded negatively on Kamal Hasan’s idea of paying the homemakers.

Shashi Tharoor who was in support of this idea, took to Twitter to respond to her remark. Explaining the benefits of the suggestion, he said, “I agree that there are so many things in a homemakers life that are beyond price. It is about recognising the value of unpaid work and ensuring a basic income to every woman. I’d like every woman in India to be as empowered as you.”
