Jigra title track released; Vedang Raina grabs audience with his vocals

On Monday, Alia Bhatt and Vedang Raina starrer Jigra released their title track, ‘Jigra’.

Recently, Arijit Singh, Anumita Nadesan, and Achint Thakkar released the lovely song Tenu Sang Rakhna, which brilliantly captures the essence of sibling love and features Alia and Vedang. This song joins the film’s intriguing soundtrack, which also contains the iconic track Chal Kudiye, and reunites Alia with Diljit Dosanjh.

Social media users have been reacting overwhelmingly to the three-minute and ninteen-second Jigra title track. They have given their verdict as an energetic hit.

The supporting cast of the Vasan Bala-directed movie includes Manoj Pahwa, Aditya Nanda, Yuvraj Vijan, Ishan Jack, and Harsh Singh. It is produced by Dharma Productions, Eternal Sunshine Productions, and Viacom18 Studios.

Jigra explores the deep and poignant journey of a sister who will stop at nothing to keep her brother safe. With a backdrop of gripping action and poignant drama, the movie emphasises themes of resilience, sacrifice, and the extent family will go to protect one another.

Vedang made his feature film debut with Zoya Akhtar’s The Archies last year. Jigra is his second film. The revised release date for Jigra was revealed by the film’s creators in June. Originally scheduled for release on September 27, 2024, the audience can now see it in theatres starting on October 11, 2024.
