The Gujarat Titans have confirmed their retained players list as they head into the IPL 2025 mega auction. The franchise, which had a challenging previous season finishing eighth, has chosen to retain five key players to build a strong core for the upcoming campaign.
Gujarat Titans Retained Players:
- Rashid Khan – Rs. 18 crore
- Shubman Gill – Rs. 16.5 crore
- Sai Sudharsan – Rs. 8.5 crore
- Shahrukh Khan – Rs. 4 crore
- Rahul Tewatia – Rs. 4 crore
With these strategic retentions, Gujarat Titans will enter the mega auction with a purse of Rs. 69 crore. The auction is tentatively scheduled for November or December, and the BCCI is considering hosting it overseas, with Abu Dhabi leading as the preferred location, followed by Muscat and Doha.
The deadline for retention submissions was October 31, allowing each team to retain a maximum of six players, with up to five being capped.
