The latest addition to Rohit Shetty’s Cop Universe, Singham Again, continues to make waves at the global box office. On its third day, the film added over ₹50 crore to its collection, bringing its worldwide earnings to an impressive ₹176 crore. This milestone brings the action-packed saga closer to the ₹200 crore mark, reflecting its strong audience appeal.
Singham Again is the third film in the Singham franchise, which began in 2011 with the original hit, Singham. The current installment has already outperformed the first film’s lifetime gross of ₹157 crore. According to Sacnilk, Singham Again has garnered ₹121 crore net (₹146 crore gross) in India alone during its opening weekend, alongside an overseas total of $3.6 million (₹30 crore).
The film opened on November 1, clashing with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3. Despite competition, Singham Again secured 60% of the screens across India, ensuring a robust 60-65% occupancy rate over the weekend, boosted by Diwali holiday crowds. With Monday poised as the critical test for sustained success, analysts are keen to see if the film can maintain its momentum.
Featuring Ajay Devgn alongside Akshay Kumar, Ranveer Singh, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor, Singham Again offers a grand Avengers-style crossover within Shetty’s Cop Universe, delighting fans of the high-octane franchise.
