Diljit Dosanjh Seeks Blessings at Dakshineswar Ahead of Kolkata Concert

Kolkata is abuzz with excitement as Punjabi music sensation Diljit Dosanjh prepares to perform on November 30 as part of his Dil-Luminati Tour 2024. Ahead of his much-anticipated concert, the global icon visited the Dakshineswar Temple, paying homage to Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa.

A video of Diljit’s visit, posted on his social media account, X (formerly Twitter), captured the singer offering prayers and meditating in the temple premises. Dressed in a white kurta-pyjama, he appeared serene as he engaged with devotees and posed for pictures with thrilled fans. Sharing the clip, Diljit wrote, “Dakshineswar Temple, Kolkata… Sri Ramkrishna Paramhansa Ji.”

Diljit arrived in Kolkata on November 28, documenting his journey with in-flight selfies and glimpses of the city. He was seen exploring Kolkata’s charm in its iconic yellow taxis and enjoying the tranquil Hooghly River banks.

The Dil-Luminati Tour, which began in New Delhi, has been a resounding success, with sold-out shows across cities like Jaipur, Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, and Pune. After enthralling audiences in Kolkata, Diljit will perform in Mumbai on December 19, culminating in Guwahati on December 29.

Having already captivated fans in the US, Canada, the UK, and Europe earlier this year, Diljit’s India leg of the tour has been nothing short of spectacular, reinforcing his global appeal. Kolkata awaits the magic he’s set to bring to the stage on Saturday night.
