Actor Gurfateh Pirzada opens up about how OTT has given him more affection

Actor Gurfateh Pirzada enjoys a wider following on OTT thanks to roles in films like Guilty and Hum Bhi Akele Tum Bhi Akele. Actors grow much more slowly as outsiders, and the internet world has shown him more affection, according to the actor, who is currently filming for the television series Dynasty and will eventually appear in Class 2.

The Call Me Bae actor says, “I think it’s a lot harder for men and if you are an outsider. But time has been kind, OTT has been kinder. I hope to do films as well but I don’t think there is any difference now. Films and OTT shows have become pretty much the same. There will soon be a time when we won’t be able to tell what is bigger. That is how it is in the West and that is exactly how it should be.”

“If you come from the industry, there is a certain recall that people have and people also build you up like that in a certain way even before the first project comes out,” he states, discussing the benefits of being a member of the film industry.

Getting attention is probably more simpler, but ultimately, only your work will demonstrate anything. He does, however, assert that “good work will only come to you if you are actually good” in the modern world.

He describes his role in Dynasty as “fiction and political drama.” This is my first period piece, and it explores how Indian politics changed following the independence movement. I am the opposition’s youngest member of parliament.”
