It has been reported that Hiroo Yash Johar, the mother of filmmaker Karan Johar, has been admitted to the Ambani Hospital in Mumbai. A video that Paparazzo Viral Bhayani shared showed Karan and designer Manish Malhotra on Saturday visiting Hiroo at the hospital.
At Ambani Hospital, Karan Johar and his closest friend Manish Malhotra were spotted paying a visit to Hiroo Johar, who had been admitted the day before. “I hope she gets well soon,” the paparazzi added, sharing a video of Karan and Manish’s automobiles entering the hospital on Saturday night.

Karan recently discussed having a “modern family” in which he and his mother care for the children he had through surrogacy during his participation on the Netflix series Fabulous Lives vs. Bollywood Wives. Karan made his directing comeback last year with the box office hit Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani.
Since then, he has produced a number of films under his Dharma Productions name, such as Jigra, Yodha, and Kill. For ₹1000 crore, he recently sold industrialist Adar Poonawalla a 50% share in Dharma.
