According to latest reports, Prime Minister Narendra Modi will be getting vaccinated in the second phase of the Indian vaccination drive launched on January 16, 2021. Along with the PM, the Minister above the age of 50 will also be vaccinated. This move will help instill the confidence of the general public who are still in doubt to whether to get vaccinated or not.
The Prime Minister has also urged people not to miss their second dose of the shot as it will not effective if the process is not completed. Around 3 crore health line and front line works are going to be vaccinated in the first phase and all the cost is borne by central government.
