Kotak Mahindra Bank reports Rs. 1,853 crore profit in Q3 but decrease in credit growth

Kotak Mahindra Bank reported a 16.1% growth in the third financial quarter that ended on December 2020. It is one of the largest private sector banks that is led by market capitalisation.

While there was growth in difference between earned and expanded income along with growth of net income worth Rs.4,007 crore, the advanced declined by 1.2 percent, standing at Rs.2,14,103 crore. The advances stood at Rs.2,16,774 crore in the third quarter the previous year.

The shares meanwhile saw a 57% return in Q3FY21 because of a possibility of economic recovery. Profit booking fell by 8% so far in January 2021.
