Central government postpones farm laws says President of India in his Parliamentary speech

The Parliamentary Budget session has started from today i.e., Jan 29, 2021 and the Parliament was addressed by the honorable President Of India – Ram Nath Kovind. In his speech, the President addressed the issue of the ongoing farmer’s protest and said that the decision to implement farm laws has been postponed as ordered by the Supreme Court and Central government respects every decision of the apex court.

The President mentioned the violence of Jan 26 and said the incident of insult of the National flag on Red Fort and the violence was very unfortunate. The Constitution grants everybody Freedom of Expression but one should account rules & laws.

Mr. Kovid said that the 3 Agri laws has already benefited over 10 crore small farmers. During his speech many MPs of the opposition were shouting the slogan of “Jai Jawan Jai Kissan” and demanded total cancellation of the laws.
