Gujarati actor Arvind Joshi at the age of 84 passed away in a Mumbai hospital on Friday morning.
Sarita Joshi told The Indian express that, “Arvind ji passed away early morning today. He was admitted at Nanavati Hospital due to age-related health issues. He was 84 and passed away peacefully in his sleep.”
A source told the news agency that he had chest infection and neurological issues, and was suffering from the same got admitted and was in ICU, since a week.
Actor paresh rawal tweeted,”Irreparable loss to Indian theatre; and described him as a Versatile actor.

Writer Mayur Puri, in his tweet also gave his condolences.Anil Sharma posted on Twitter, “V sad to hear about sad demise of Shree Arvind Joshi Ji.

He is survived by his wife and two children – actors Sharman Joshi and Manasi Joshi Roy.
