Three men have filed separate lawsuits against Sean “Diddy” Combs, alleging that he drugged and raped them between 2019 and 2022. The lawsuits, filed in a New York court, involve anonymous plaintiffs seeking unspecified damages. The men, referred to as “John Does,” claim that Diddy used his bodyguards and associates to lure them into compromising situations.
In one case, a man who worked as an assistant for Diddy in 2020 alleges that after meeting with the mogul in a hotel room to discuss business, he was drugged and sexually assaulted. Another lawsuit involves a man who met Diddy at a nightclub in 2019 and was invited to an “exclusive afterparty.” He claims to have been drugged and assaulted, and was paid $2,500 afterward. The third accuser describes multiple assaults between 2020 and 2022, including an alleged incident at a Bad Boy Records party at Diddy’s mansion.
Diddy, currently facing several sexual abuse charges and awaiting trial, denies these allegations. His legal team has labeled the complaints as false and vowed to prove them wrong. Additionally, attorney Tony Buzbee, who represents many of Diddy’s accusers, has warned that as many as 300 lawsuits could be filed against the music mogul.
The legal troubles surrounding Diddy have extended to others, including Jay-Z, who was recently added to a civil suit alleging the rape of a 13-year-old girl at an MTV VMA after-party. Jay-Z denies the claims and countersued for defamation.
The timing of these lawsuits coincides with other high-profile cases in entertainment and business, reflecting a larger reckoning with sexual abuse and trafficking allegations across various industries.
