What about the Movies that never were?

Not every Star Wars movie is meant to be. Projects like Boba Fett and Rogue Squadron have been shelved in favor of TV shows, and some, like the mysterious film from Marvel Studios’ Kevin Feige, were quietly canceled. The Force isn’t always with every project, but hey—at least there’s no shortage of Star Wars content these days.

On the small screen: Star Wars TV shows are here to stay

While the galaxy’s cinematic future is bright, Star Wars is also thriving on Disney+. Upcoming shows include:

  • Star Wars: Tales of the Empire (May 4, 2024)
  • The Acolyte (June 4, 2024)
  • Star Wars: Skeleton Crew (Late 2024)
  • Andor Season 2 (2025)
  • Ahsoka Season 2 (Date TBD)

The Force is strong with both movies and TV shows, and Lucasfilm shows no signs of slowing down. It’s a great time to be a Star Wars fan—whether you’re a Mandalorian fanatic or a Rey enthusiast, there’s something for everyone in the galaxy!
