Jessica Alba and her husband, Cash Warren, have reportedly ended their 16-year marriage, as reported by TMZ. The couple, who married on May 19, 2008, shares three children: Honor, 16, Haven, 13, and Hayes, 7.
Alba and Warren first met on the set of Fantastic Four (2004) in Vancouver, where Alba portrayed Sue Storm and Warren worked as a director’s assistant. Over the years, Alba has been candid about the challenges of balancing her marriage, family life, and career. In past interviews, including one with People, the actress highlighted the importance of communication and flexibility in their relationship, particularly as their individual needs evolved over time. Alba mentioned that they both made efforts to prioritize their relationship, despite their busy schedules.
She recalled, “At different times, there were different things that we needed. Around the time I had the kids, it was like, ‘I need [date night] once a week.’ And he’s been like, ‘I need you to be present on the weekends and not work.'”
Even though the couple has separated, they recently came together to celebrate their youngest child, Hayes’ 7th birthday, in early January. Around the same time, Alba shared a reflective post on social media, expressing gratitude for personal growth, transformation, and love in her life.
In May 2024, Alba marked their anniversary with a heartfelt post, acknowledging both the struggles and joys they had faced together, and celebrating their resilience as a couple. However, despite these reflections, it’s now reported that the couple is preparing to file for divorce.
