Tasha K recently accused Cardi B of attempting to “sabotage” both her career and her bankruptcy filing, adding fuel to their ongoing legal battle. This comes three years after a judge ordered Tasha, whose real name is Latasha Kebe, to pay Cardi B $3.4 million following a defamation lawsuit.
New documents obtained by TMZ reveal that Tasha K alleges the 32-year-old Grammy-winning rapper has been trying to “bully her financially.” Tasha claims Cardi B exposed supposed “offshore trust accounts” in the Cook Islands, Nevis, and Georgia, which Tasha believes is an attempt to harm her financially.
Tasha K also accuses Cardi B of trying to limit her ability to speak freely on her blogs and social media by conditioning any settlement of the $3.4 million debt on this broad restriction.
In addition, Cardi B’s legal team recently filed a case in Florida Bankruptcy Court, alleging that Tasha K transferred assets and income to her husband, Cheickna Kebe, and his business in an effort to hide her wealth. Cardi B claims Tasha is still living a lavish lifestyle, even upgrading to a $7,000-a-month apartment, despite claiming to have financial struggles.
In response, Cardi B is asking the judge to dismiss Tasha K’s bankruptcy case and prevent her from filing for bankruptcy again for the next two years. Tasha had filed for bankruptcy, stating she had less than $60,000 in assets.
