Piers Morgan, one of the most well-known figures in the news industry, is once again making headlines—this time for his next career move. With his three-year contract with Rupert Murdoch’s UK-based media empire coming to an end, many are wondering what’s next for him.
According to Sky News, Morgan has now secured a new deal with News UK, which gives him ownership of his Uncensored media brand, along with its massive YouTube audience of 3.6 million subscribers. For those unfamiliar, News UK is a major media powerhouse that owns The Sun, The Times, and Times Radio.
This new agreement, made between News UK and Morgan’s production company, Wake Up Production, is a four-year contract with a revenue-sharing model. Essentially, News UK will continue to benefit from advertising revenue generated by Piers Morgan Uncensored until 2029.
Morgan originally returned to News UK in January 2022, signing a three-year deal that involved writing regular columns for The Sun and The New York Post, as well as hosting a show on TalkTV—a venture that has since shut down.
In addition to this new media deal, insiders suggest that Morgan still has a book contract with HarperCollins, another Murdoch-owned company. If all goes as planned, he could wrap up his book by the end of this year.
