Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jay-Z have recently found themselves at the center of controversy after a lawsuit was filed against them by an alleged victim, who claims that the two rappers assaulted her when she was 13 years old. While the case is still making its way through the courts, Diddy’s former bodyguard, Gene Deal, has made some bold revelations about the nature of the relationship between the two hip-hop moguls.
In an interview with The Art of Dialogue, Deal was asked about the connection between Jay-Z and Diddy, which has become a topic of speculation in light of the lawsuit. He responded by describing the duo’s bond as extremely close. Deal said, “They were close enough that they weren’t just playing sports together like basketball, baseball, or soccer. They had a unique friendship, with Diddy even going on stage to pat Jay-Z on the back, publicly declaring, ‘can’t nobody call me Sean but Jay-Z.'”
Deal also claimed that their closeness extended to their personal lives. According to him, the two rappers would often joke about their “matching white girls,” with each one asking the other about the well-being of his “skinny white girl.” He suggested that this type of shared experience was indicative of the special bond they had.
It’s important to note, however, that Deal’s statements remain unverified, and both Jay-Z and Diddy have denied the allegations made in the ongoing lawsuit.
