Keke Palmer Reveals Why One Of Her Scream Queens Co-star Owes An Apology

Keke Palmer has spoken out about an incident with a white co-star from Scream Queens, who made a racist remark that Palmer claims still has her waiting for an apology. In her book Master of Me, Palmer shared that the unnamed co-star, referred to as Brenda, once belittled her efforts to resolve a disagreement with another cast member by saying, “Who do you think you are? Martin f—ing Luther King?”

Palmer acknowledged that the remark was hurtful but emphasized that she didn’t let it define her. During a previous interview with the Los Angeles Times, she explained that she doesn’t see herself as a victim and is self-aware enough not to let such comments control her narrative.

Despite the comment, Palmer revealed that the co-star never formally apologized, even though they’ve stayed in touch. Palmer recounted that the co-star had sent her a congratulatory message after the release of her book, seemingly to “check the temperature,” but Palmer is still waiting for a genuine apology. She emphasized that the co-star knows exactly what they did.

Scream Queens is available for streaming on Apple TV+.
