Justin Baldoni’s legal team is reportedly set to launch a website to support his claims against Blake Lively

Justin Baldoni’s legal team is preparing to launch a website that will feature evidence aimed at supporting his claims against Blake Lively in the ongoing dispute over the behind-the-scenes conflict on It Ends With Us. The website is expected to include emails, correspondence, and videos that Baldoni’s team believes will challenge the accusations made by Lively in her December 2024 sexual harassment complaint. In a statement, Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, asserted that the release of these materials is a demonstration of Baldoni and his team having “nothing to hide.” They are prepared to continue showing evidence that they argue will disprove Lively’s allegations.

In addition to the website, Baldoni has filed a lawsuit against Lively, her husband Ryan Reynolds, and their publicist, seeking $400 million in damages for defamation, extortion, and other claims. This legal action follows Lively’s initial complaint last year, and it comes after Baldoni also filed a libel lawsuit against The New York Times on December 31, 2024, regarding an article that covered the sexual harassment allegations and an alleged smear campaign against him.

The video at the center of the controversy, which was released by Baldoni’s team and obtained by TMZ, shows footage of Lively and Baldoni filming a slow dance scene for It Ends With Us. While the scene is supposed to be silent, the two co-stars can be seen speaking out of character, joking with each other about Baldoni’s nose and Lively’s spray tan. Baldoni’s team uses this footage to argue that there was no awkwardness or discomfort between the two, contrasting Lively’s accusations that Baldoni took advantage of their closeness during the scene. The video even shows Lively joking about Baldoni’s nose and referencing plastic surgery, which is part of the context for Baldoni’s lawsuit, claiming Lively implied he should undergo surgery.

Baldoni’s legal team insists that the evidence they are preparing to present will reveal a pattern of bullying and threats from Lively aimed at taking control of the movie. They argue that the actress’s behavior in this case is consistent with her past conduct, and that the new evidence will further support their position.

As this legal battle progresses, both parties seem committed to presenting evidence that will shape the public’s perception of the situation, making it clear that both sides are looking to defend their reputations and claims.
