Noah Centineo says it was “daunting” stepping back into the shoes of Peter Kavinsky for his cameo in XO, Kitty

Noah Centineo’s return as Peter Kavinsky in XO, Kitty has been a highly anticipated moment for fans of the To All the Boys franchise. In a recent interview with People, Centineo shared his thoughts on stepping back into the role, admitting that it was both daunting and scary to reprise the beloved character after the trilogy ended in 2021. Despite the nervousness, Centineo couldn’t pass up the chance, particularly because of his admiration for Anna Cathcart, who plays Kitty. He praised Cathcart’s professionalism and work ethic, calling her the most “prepared” among all cast members in the To All the Boys series, and expressed how much he wanted to support her.

The cameo in XO, Kitty came about quite organically. While Centineo was in Seoul filming the second season of The Recruit, the producers of XO, Kitty reached out to him, knowing he was in the city. Centineo was more than happy to agree, and his return as Peter Kavinsky was set in motion. Fans of both To All the Boys and XO, Kitty are now able to enjoy the cameo, with the second season of the spin-off series currently streaming on Netflix.
