Euphoria fans can rejoice as season 3 is officially in production! After a few months of delays, key cast members, including Zendaya and Sydney Sweeney, are back on set filming the upcoming episodes. HBO made the exciting announcement by sharing a photo of Zendaya and Sweeney lounging on the lawn with the caption, “Euphoria season 3 is in production.”
Earlier in November, Casey Bloys, Chairman and CEO of HBO, confirmed that shooting would begin in early 2025, and the show will have a full-length season with eight episodes. This means fans can expect a binge-worthy season ahead, though it seems it might be a bit of a wait, with the new season likely dropping in late 2025 or even 2026.
The entire main cast from previous seasons is set to return, which includes Hunter Schafer, Nika King, Eric Dane, Angus Cloud, Jacob Elordi, Algee Smith, Sydney Sweeney, Alexa Demie, Barbie Ferreira, Maude Apatow, Javon Walton, Dominic Fike, Storm Reid, and Austin Abrams.
Season 2 ended on some cliffhangers, particularly with Angus Cloud’s character, Fezco, and his partner Ashtray leaving the show in a dramatic fashion. Fans are also left with questions about the futures of Rue, Laurie, and Cal Jacobs. It’s clear that the upcoming season will dive deeper into these unresolved storylines.
The series is produced by a talented team that includes Kevin Turen, Ravi Nandan, Drake, Zendaya, and others. It seems like Euphoria is ready to deliver even more emotional turmoil, intense character arcs, and unforgettable moments when it finally makes its return.
