Filmmaker-choreographer Farah Khan recently discussed parenting with actor Rubina Dilaik on her YouTube channel. The conversation offered a rare glimpse into Farah’s parenting style and her life with her 17-year-old triplets Czar, Diva, and Anya Kunder.
Rubina, who welcomed twins Edhaa and Jiva in 2023, sought advice from Farah, who shared that despite their age, her children still enjoy spending time with her and her husband, filmmaker Shirish Kunder. “Luckily, my kids are 17 going on 13. They’re not overgrown and are still studious. For their birthday, they wanted a family dinner instead of a club party,” Farah revealed.
Farah also mentioned that her daughters have never been to a club or used makeup, highlighting her strict but loving parenting style. “I’m a strict mom—I track where they go. But every evening, we have a gossip chat, which helps me stay connected with their lives,” she said.
When Rubina asked if there was a difference in how she parents her son and daughters, Farah admitted she is stricter with her son. She emphasized the importance of teaching him to treat women respectfully and to avoid participating in inappropriate conversations with his friends.
Farah, who married Shirish in 2004, gave birth to her triplets through IVF in 2008. In February, she celebrated their 17th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram post, sharing childhood pictures and a humorous note embracing her role as an “embarrassing” yet loving Indian mom.
