 
									According to authorities on Thursday, an unidentified attacker fatally hacked a Trinamool Congress leader in Kanaipur, in the Hooghly district of West Bengal. According to a senior officer, a group of individuals attacked him with sharp instruments on Wednesday night near the Kanaipur autorickshaw stand.
According to the police, the TMC leader was pronounced dead after being brought to the SSKM hospital in Kolkata. Pintu Chakraborty, a member of the Trinamool Congress panchayat, was killed by unidentified assailants in Kanaipur on Wednesday night when he was making his way home. “An inquiry is in progress,” he stated.
According to witnesses, the assailants hit him many times before escaping the area. After being taken by locals to a nearby hospital, he was sent to Kolkata for more care. During his visit to the hospital, State Transport Minister Snehasis Chakraborty stated that he was close to the dead because they had studied together.
“I am unable to comprehend the reason behind the murder, but I hope the police will arrest the culprits soon,” he stated. The incident, according to opposition leaders, was the result of an internal conflict inside the Trinamool Congress.
